*A new chapter of creativity, photography, cards, and the world I am building.*

Every world begins with a moment when something ordinary asks to be seen differently

There are things we create because we have an idea.

And then there are things that begin to grow around us so quietly that, at some point, we realise we are no longer making a project.

*We are building a world.*

**Moss Journey was created for that world.**

It is a place for the stories behind what I create — but also for everything that happens before something becomes a finished photograph, a Tarot card, a deck, an object, or an idea with a name.

*The observations.*

*The places.*

*The mistakes.*

The photographs taken without knowing yet why they matter.

The objects brought home because something about their colour or shape feels important.

The thoughts that stay for months before finally becoming part of something larger.

This is where those pieces meet.

Some paths only become visible when we begin paying attention.

**A world before a product**

Moss Universe began with cards, but somewhere along the way I realised that I was no longer simply creating Tarot, Lenormand or Oracle decks.

Each deck was beginning to carry its own atmosphere.

Its own places.

Its own people.

Its own symbols, colours, relationships and emotional language.

A forest was no longer simply a forest.

A red shoe could become temptation.

A doorway could become transition.

A table set for two could say something about intimacy before a single word had been written.

A photograph taken on an ordinary afternoon could eventually become the visual beginning of a card.

That is what I mean when I speak about **Moss Universe**.

It is not only a collection of decks.

It is an evolving visual and philosophical world built from photography, symbolism, lived experience and the questions that follow us through life.

And **Moss Journey** is the journal that exists around it.

The Moon — where landscape, symbol and story begin to become one.

**Why photography, cards and life belong together**

For a long time, it would have been easy to separate these things.

Photography over here.

Tarot over there.

Travel somewhere else.

Thoughts about life in another notebook entirely.

But that separation never felt true to the way I actually create.

The cards come from life.

Photography teaches me to notice it.

And everyday life provides more symbolism than any carefully constructed studio ever could.

Light moving across a wall.

An abandoned chair.

A path disappearing into fog.

Flowers beginning to fade.

Two glasses left on a table.

A single bright object among a hundred quiet ones.

These things already contain stories.

The smallest details can carry an entire story, if we notice them in time.

Photography allows me to stop long enough to see them.

Cards allow me to translate them into symbols.

Writing allows me to understand why they mattered in the first place.

*The life and the work belong to the same landscape.*

**This is also a journal about becoming**

Creation interests me because it is never only about the thing being created.

Something also happens to the person creating it.

Taste changes.

Standards change.

Certain ideas disappear.

Others become impossible to ignore.

You begin by trying to make something beautiful and eventually discover that you are also making decisions about who you are, what you value and what kind of life you want to build around yourself.

That process is what I call **becoming**.

Not a dramatic transformation into an entirely different person.

More often it is quieter than that.

It is learning to recognise what belongs to you and what no longer does.

Choosing deliberately.

Paying attention.

Removing what creates noise.

Giving more energy to what makes life deeper, more beautiful or more meaningful.

Moss Journey will document that process too.

Not as a finished philosophy.

As something being lived.

![A dark open field beneath dramatic storm clouds with warm light near the horizon.](https://storage.ghost.io/c/7b/f9/7bf90c38-d6d7-4ef2-a51d-296401085c3b/content/images/2026/09/IMG_6252.png.jpg)

Becoming rarely announces itself. More often, it happens quietly between one season and the next.

**What you will find here**

Some entries will begin in the studio.

You will see cards while they are still ideas, the photographs and references behind them, experiments that work and ones that do not, and the decisions that eventually shape a finished deck.

![arot cards arranged on a rustic wooden table with flowers, a bottle and fresh strawberries.](https://storage.ghost.io/c/7b/f9/7bf90c38-d6d7-4ef2-a51d-296401085c3b/content/images/2026/09/IMG_8890_WEB.png.jpg)

The cards do not exist apart from life. They return to the table, the season, the objects and moments that first gave them meaning.

Other stories will begin somewhere completely different.

By the sea.

In a forest.

At a table.

On a walk.

During a journey.

Some will be built almost entirely from photographs.

Some will explore a single card or symbol.

Some will be reflections on creativity, relationships, beauty, solitude, discipline, desire or change.

And sometimes there may be no card at all.

Because **Moss Journey** is not a catalogue of things I make.

*It is a record of the world from which they come.*

**The idea beneath everything**

There is one thought connecting all of this.

*The worlds we create around us begin with what we choose to notice.*

A life changes through hundreds of decisions that appear insignificant while we are making them.

What we keep.

What we leave.

What we photograph.

What we repeat.

Where we spend our attention.

What we allow into our surroundings.

What we decide deserves to become part of our story.

Creation works in much the same way.

A universe is rarely built in one great moment.

It is assembled from fragments.

One photograph.

One card.

One thought.

One journey.

One choice after another.

![A warm sunset reflected across calm water with a dark shoreline in the distance.](https://storage.ghost.io/c/7b/f9/7bf90c38-d6d7-4ef2-a51d-296401085c3b/content/images/2026/09/IMG_0668.png-1.jpg)

A world is built slowly — one photograph, one thought, one choice at a time.

Perhaps that is why **Moss Journey** feels like the right name for this place.

Because I am interested not only in what eventually exists.

*I am interested in how we arrive there.*

And this is where I will document the journey.

**Welcome to Moss Journey.**
